Is my stuff private?
Your boxes live on your phone, and once you sign in they’re backed up to your account, so a new phone gets them all back. To list what’s in a box, its photos go to an AI to be read. Some AI services, like Google’s, may keep what they see to improve their products, so keep private papers out of the shot.
Do I have to install anything?
No. It runs in your phone’s browser. Apps for iPhone and Android are on the way.
What if it gets something wrong?
Tap the list to fix it, or pick a different room.
Which labels should I buy?
Avery 5163 (2 × 4 inch) or any store brand “compatible with 5163”, from Walmart, Target, Staples or Amazon. None at hand? Plain paper works: dotted lines show where to cut, then tape it on. On Pro, Bluetooth label printers work too.
Why does sign-in say Connections?
Connections runs sign-in and payments for Packing Buddy, so you will see its name on the sign-in page and on the email with your code. The account is free, and you only need one after your first 3 boxes.
Can my AI look through my boxes?
Yes. Add Packing Buddy to ChatGPT, Claude or any AI app that takes an MCP connector, with the address https://packingbuddy-api.lunarwerx.com/mcp, and sign in with your account. It can then tell you which box anything is in. It can only read your boxes, never change them, and only the ones backed up to your account.
Who handles the payment?
Connections Pay, through Stripe; we never see your card. Your statement shows the charge as CONNECTIONS GLOBAL.
What happens to my boxes if I cancel?
They stay. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, and after that every box is still there: open it, change its list by hand, reprint its label on label sheets, search for what’s inside. New boxes, and the AI reading new photos, need a plan again. Cancel any time in the app.
